Default fender link tool

anyone know where to get one or whether its really needed to remove springer front fender?

thought i'd bump this up hoping someone knows what the h i'm talking about. reading the manual it seems it's needed to install the front fender.

can you post a pic of the part your trying to take off, on fenders it usually about four bolts, (socket cap screws) with nuts on the other end, so the correct allen wrench or allen socket and wrench is needed.
If you have like a heritage spring wth a full fender, I think that one mounts on the front axle.
Looks like a series of bearings and spacers pressed together. I'd have see it to tell you for sure.
