Springer front fender
Springer owners,I'm wondering if any of you have had your front fender off and used the "fender link tool" to put the fender back on like the service manual says. I'm having the tins painted and was reading the manual and it says to use this tool to reinstall it. Curious if you really should use it or if this is just another $40 unnecessary tool we don't need. Thanks for any info!

Fender link tool? I have a manual but didn't bother reading about the fender procedure. I've had mine off and on with no special tools. IMO and experience, most of the special HD tools can be replaced with normal tools.
