95 springer
The only issue I remember with the engines for that year was the cam bearings. The bearings were a caged roller bearing, and they often came apart causing serious damage. It was easy enough to have the caged bearing replaced with a Torrington full roller bearing, and then there were no issues.
I had a 95 Roadking (Same engine) that I put 80,000 miles on and had no problems. I put a high performance cam in it at 10,000 miles and changed out the bearings at the same time. Wife had a '97 Lowrider that she had 47,000 miles on and she never even changed the bearings.
If you buy this bike, I would suggest that you insure that the bearings have been changed(most people had it done), and if not, spend a few bucks and get it done.
Regards,
Bill
