I've just bought flstsc (heritage springer 2005) passing lights on a biker market (used one). Now I'm just questioning how to mount it
Sounds that the bar must be fixed on a screw of front shock and on 2 screws on the back of the fork. Am I correct ?
What about the electric wires ? Were they must be connected ?
I would have a switch (like on flstc). Where is the best place to mount it on a flstsc ?
Would it be possible to do it my self ? Or better to go to a specialist ?
Yes they mount to the lower shock bolt, and the two screws on the forks. I didn't put the switch on mine I just took the wires inside the headlamp, and soldered them to the low beam wire. It is not hard at all, if you have any mech. ability. Took about 30 mins to mount. I decided to not put a switch on them after reading that alot of guys wired them the way I chose. I put them on to make the bike more visible for saftey, and dont plan on turning them off, so no need for a switch. They function fine and turn off with the high beam like they should.
