Just bought a new Deuce today - New to me that is - 2002 with 7000km.
Do not pass "Go" Do not collect $200.00 going straight to the shop to start tearing it down to be ready for the spring.
However... I have a question right from the start. I was thinking of changing the handle bars to Carlini Design - Drag Bars 5" risers. Not a lot of web pages out there with good photos of bars. Do any of you have any suggestions?
My pipes are in - Should have those done this weekend - Jesse James - "Hell Bent" and hope to have the front fender and tank stretched in time for the first summer ride - For me that's the end of April, should be plenty of time.
Any help on the bars would be greatly appreciated.
Ya... The bike is mine, the chick is not - Funny, how you can get most young ladies to come over and be part of a show. She was just a stroller at a show.
I'm looking forward to the build, not so much on the wallet and time side. The Electra Glide toook 6 years to get it almost finished.
My Hell Bent should be on this weekend, so I'll be updating the picture links.
I'll remove the tank this weekend as well and split in half, and start stretching it - That will be the biggest job. I'm doing a modified Paul Yaffee front fender - OTH.
let me tell you from the time i bought my deuce i started the mod and did some things twice. once the snow melts ill take some more pics. i have carlini bars on mine. check crazy cunucks in the deuces thread. i have the same bars.
cheers
