Default Most comortable seat for heritage classic

hi looking for a seat with more lower back support . the stock seat feels good to sit on but more support for my back would be nice.anybody try a sundowner or rallyrunner? was thinking of just getting the firehouse customs backrest but i heard that it puts you too far forward.any suggestions would be appreciated. this is for a 08 heritage softail classic.

If you want more back support a back rest is the way to go. Corbin has many options, but the are expensive, and rather firm to say the least. HD offers a few options of seats with built in back rests that are adjustable and they are pretty nice. It really boils down to how much you want to spend. Another suggestion is to look at the classifieds here or craig's list. You can get some pretty good deals there.

I have the Firehouse on my '08, and it makes a BIG difference. If you only want/need support, the Firehouse is great. I am about 6 foot, and it does NOT move me too far forward.

I've got the Firehouse backrest as well, and it works fairly well. It does move you forward a bit, but any backrest will do that. The price is just over $100, which is money well spent if you have lower back problems. The other alternatives are a lot more expensive.

If you're willing to spend the money then consider getting a new seat and backrest setup like the Corbin or the Ultimate. The Ultimate seat is a GREAT seat, I've had 3 in the past.

The 2-piece setup (driver seat and backrest) is $505 with studs. They are wide, soft, and very comfortable. But some folks don't like the look overall. If you're after comfort, though, and especially if you ride more than 100 miles at a time then you'll want to consider one.
