Happy, Happy, Happy.......60 degrees in Fayetteville, N.C. and a bike with about 50 miles on it. I went to the Local HD shop and met plenty of cool people today. I found it very pleasing that lots of people came over to my bike and they were all giving me praises for the "stuff" I've put on the bike thus far. It really made me feel good. I must say that this is the type of crowd I've been looking for. I did go hang out with my crotch rocket buddies for a "little" bit----but I enjoyed being around a much more mature, responsible group of people. And I had something to bring to the conversation at HD.....there was a guy who asked why my V&H were deeper and mellower than his...he complained that his were too loud.....I smiled and said, "quiet baffles"......plus I mentioned this website and told him that all I know...I learned while in Iraq browsing this website. So thank you to all who mentioned quiet baffles....I got a lot of compliments today....So, I have about 200 miles now....Not much; but it was a good ride nonetheless. I was invited for a ride to Goldsboro next Saturday. I think I'll go and meet more people. One bad thing---------My back always hurts after being out of the saddle for a while....but I need to slide back a little. Some have reworked their seats and others have bought the Corbin seat made for the deluxe. Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you to all who made my deployment in Iraq go by fast and to all the pictures I was able to look at in order to get an idea of what I wanted my bike to look like. Here are some pics....the smoked turn signals aren't on in these pics; but they are current as I have only had the bike for about 5 days.

Welcome home. We are proud of all of our men and women in the service. Where's the big smile. That is one sweet looking bike. Glad you got to ride today and hope the rest of the weekend is as good for you. The corbin or mustang seat would be a good choice but I would give the stock one a chance before you make a decision.

Beautiful looking scoot there Mstr. Sgt.! Congrats on the new ride. A huge thankyou for all you have done and continue to do for this great nation!!!!!!!!!!!!
Welcome home and enjoy the ride. I'm retired USN myself and still a newbie to riding a bike. I got my Deluxe last December and I only put in about 215 miles on it...now that's a newbie.

Hey Brian - welcome back. I just came back from my latest deployment last month and can definitely relate. Now it's time to put some miles on that bad boy and enjoy the freedom we've devoted our lives to preserving. Be careful and make the most of everyday - CWO
BTW - beautiful bike. I've been to Fayetteville a lot over the years and know that you have plenty of decent roads to enjoy.
MSG Morris!! HOOAH!! Glad to hear you're back in the world! And that you're digging the new bike. It looks sweet, I like where you're going with it. It's a little weird how cool it is to see you sitting on your bike back home...well deserved! Thanks again for your time in the fight.
