Came with the bike when I bought it. Love it, no buffeting, but going to cut it down 2 " because it hits me right at eye level. Had to put a visor ring on the headlight to get rid of reflections and went to the turn signal mirrors. Still have some wind coming up from under, but the large fork bag blocks a lot of it. You're going to get wind no matter what - it's a motorcycle.

If I had to buy another shield, I'd go with the handlebar mounted or the Memphis Shades Del Rio at 15".

I have one and it works great. You just pop it off and on. I thought that I was going to have a problem with vibration however havent had any of that.

I think it is one of the best features of owning a Harley. If I'm doing highway riding, it pops on in a couple of minutes. If I'm riding around town, it pops right off. (even quicker than it goes on...) About the only issue I have with mine is height. I need to cut it down 2 - 3", as I tend to look right 'at' it, rather than over it, or through it. I highly recommend you get one. You won't regret it.

I bought one with my Rocker and think it is great. It really breaks the blast of wind on your body and stops the wind from pulling on your helmet. The quick release clamps are fantastic. Nothing stays on the bike when the windshield is off and it takes just seconds to install or remove it. I use mine when its cold or for long runs on the interstate.

The detachable H-D windshield on my Standard makes long distance rides much less tiring. Yes, there is still some wind around the edges but no where near the same as without the shield. For around town rides, I just take it off since I prefer the appearance without the windshield. But on long rides, I always use it.
