RE: What are the best throw-over saddlebags for your buck.
I've been curious about those Kuryakin's too. They look to long for a Fatboy though. Seems like they would stick out at the turn signals or be too far forward for the passenger to be comfortable. That material is indestructable but it seems like if anything was going to screw up paint it would be them. I would be interested in opinions of these. They are onlyabout $140 and they really have great capacity compared to most. TK353, you gotta be one tough son of a gun tohave those red one but to each their own. ( That is said with respect not to ridicule or argue)
RE: What are the best throw-over saddlebags for your buck.
Yes I am.
The red bags were only 45 on ebay and they match the reflectors. You see that i only use them on overnight trips. I guess the new Harley BRIGHT ORANGE rain suite stands out too. By the way they inside of bags did not get wet in a 50mph crosswind rain storm doing 70mph for 250 miles.
Oh andI removed the clear plastic under the seat as I mostly run without the seat and the bags left no marks on the paint. Those bag supports are for 99 flst/fxst and are even on each side.
