I like both bikes. Personally I think the Fat Bob is a really good looking bike. Love the springer front end on the Cross Bones but I don't like the rear fender much either. I like the Cross Bones spring seat but it does give it a very high seat height. If your vertically challenged at all you would either need to change the Cross Bones seat out or get the Fat Bob.

Saw seveal of them riding around Daytona for bike week and they both look good off the showroom floor as well.

I'd go for the Bones, however I think that all who would
change the rear fender are correct!
Even though HD designers looked back
in time to put a front fender on the back,
I think that the flip up on the end spoils the lines.
So just "bob" the fenderand move you plate
and brake light to the side.

Fat Bob. I still can't get on board with the bobber styling of the crossbones, it is looking more appealing the longer i look at it, but the fat bob is kinda a fatboy with a bit of a nasty edge.

One other thing - more maintenance on the Dyna series than the Sloptail series. All else being equal the Dyna is a rubber-band bike and those mounts do wear, break, etc. But then the Sloptail has the counterbalancers.

Guess I'll stick with my ol' Evo.

Fat Bob for me, love everything about it. If I could swing the $$ right now it'd be in my garage.

Whylee I was going to say if you live in the east coast go with the Dyna Fat Bob. But I saw you lived in Nevada so you really don't have to worry about potholes the size of the Colorado Rockies out there like we do ( Boston, MA). I like the look of both bikes, I feel Harley is starting to appeal to the younger generations a bit. Let us know which one you pick

Oh yeah Rockerhead your bike is awesome!!! Nice looking scoot
