just looking for some opinions from you guys as to what handlebars may look good on a deuce...i have a tach mounted on the stocks right now,and would like to keep it....maybe a set of mini apes...could i still use the stock risers with the mini apes.....or maybe a set of carlini's...they make some wicked bars....any pictures of deuces with aftermarket bars would be helpful...getting the spring itch to change something out....and the bars look like their on their way
I put on the H-D Swingback bars on my '07 Deuce. They moved my grips back approximately 4.5 inches. The only thing I would caution you is make sure you check the quality of the chrome. I am still waiting for a bar that does not have any noticable defects (pitting and/or really poor welds)
I wanted bars higher and back becauce I'm 6'3" and Apes just don't work on a Deuce for me. So I went with drag bars..wild1(chubby 507's) and did a tank lift for appearance(didn't look like bars too high)
how did you do that tank lift ....was it a kit......nice looking scooter bye the way..

was the fuel crossover line really needed...i was thinking of fabricating something myself....sweet though...i love the look and the lines really flow now....also i read in another post concerning tank lifts..that you may run the possibility of burning out the fuel pump due to less fuel around it as she gets dry...have you heard of such a thing?.....still love the look though
