Has anyone put a "King / Queen" seat from a Softail Custom on a Deluxe? If so how difficult was it? I know the mounting is different but can't find out what is different or what I need to do to make this work. I have a 06 Deluxe.
Not too sure about mounting on adelux but i can tell you that the custom seat is held on by a front clip that you slide it into and then it is bolted to two holes in the bitch bar. Im pretty sure your gonna need either the stock bitch bar from a fxstc or the twisted sissybar from the hd catalouge. If you need me to measure anything on the stock seat or take pics for you let me know.
Who is making your King/queen seat??
You will probably have to take the luggage rack off to make it fit. Most softail seats will fit, but unless it is made for the deluxe, you will have to remove the luggage rack.
I may be wrong, but thats the only difference I know of.

Pretty sure he is talking about the stock fxstc seat.
