I'm with the majority. The fiance and I had three bikes in mind when I got bought the Crossbones. A Night Train, rocker, and crossbones, and I thought the rocker looked cheaply made. Like an out of place ugly warpig in a crowd of sexy hogs.

The Rocker C was beautiful, but I liked the Crossbones and Night Train both more. And I thought the Rocker was a bit on the uncomfy side, im 6'4", and it didnt fit me very well.

Ride what you like though, I would never insult someones bike.

OK, so you don't like the Rockers. So what! It's easy to see that most of you critics didn't buy your current bike for You, you bought them for everybody you think are looking at you when your out for a ride. Grow up dudes. I bought a Rocker C for ME,not for anybody else. I'm proud of the fact I've got enough self confidence and selfesteem to be my own person, be a little different Yes there different. Thank God! All the world needs is another Black Harley Davidson with Ape Hangers and Tassles on the grips. Oh, sorry. I'm starting to sound just like you guys!
Dude, is this yer first Harley?

At the risk of flaming you, I'll be kinda nice. At BWB, I'd give ya both barrels, but Terry and the other mods like me ta be civil here.

Mellow out, dude.

We can get VERY opinionated on here, y'all know that. BUT, fer you ta sayTHIS?

"It's easy to see that most of you critics didn't buy your current bike for You, you bought them for everybody you think are looking at you when your out for a ride. Grow up dudes. I bought a Rocker C for ME,not for anybody else."

That ain't right, dude, in more ways than one. I bought a Softail 'cuz I was TIRED of the Dyna ride after a long day going across
country. PLUS, MY seat is as good as any Ultra or Goldwing in comfort on a LONG ride. And as far as anyone LOOKIN' at me?
I have a nice paint combo that was ONLY offered in 07. I like it, but that is just a fringe benefit.

Chicks digthat BIG seat, ya know? And I hate apehangers and tassels.

Besides, I ride FAST, so ya won't see me fer very long. I seriously wonder if you bought that bike without considering that it would be
an eye catcher. DON'T get hypocritical on me...

"Self confidence and self esteem"??? I won't comment except ta say that we never used those terms when I was a kid.
Not even NOW!

Get offa that horse. Ya heard Montgomery Gentry's song? Here's some of the lyrics:

"Sayin' blah, blah, blah, justa jackin' their jaws, Jus' gotta let it roll offa mah back;
I don't don't give a damn what other people think,
Whattaya think about that?"

At this point, I will offer ya an apology. YES, I think that the Rocker C is an overweight, overpriced, badly designed POS, BUT!:

If YOU like it, then ride it with pride! It still says HARLEY on it, right?

But I'll still eat a Rocker fer breakfast. I beat a kid on a VROD that couldn't handle 120+ mph... Frikkin' newbie!!!

I hope you don't think of yourself as a spokesman here Mr Twolf. From whatI have seen since I have been coming here the comments you made were out of line and a little ....odd. I mean, If you wanted to start a nerd fight youwere on the right track, but you will be on your own I think. You are trashing another HD rider's bike and this is a HD rider's site. If you want to trash harleysI thinkyou should go somewhere else. And the more I see of the ROcker, the more I like it. Great lines, the evolution of the Deuce??

Harley Bass, so, your point is, if I didn't buy a Rocker or Rocker C, I bought my bike just because I wanted to be looked at? Well, I hate to tell you this, but, I bought my bike for me, I could really care less what you or anyone else thinks about it. And by the way, it's not all black with apes and tassles. It's a Deuce, Suede Blue and Vivid Black. And I didn't buy it because it says Harley on the tank either, I looked at a bunch of brands before I bought mine, but, I liked it the best.

We just bought my wife an 08' Super Glide, why, cause she liked it the best. She's putting a bunch of that Harley Skull stuff on it, no offense to those who have them, but, I don't like that stuff, it's her bike though, she does what she likes. I gotta say , lowering the rear of it a couple of inches the other day made a huge step in the right direction for it. Now, would it matter to her if you liked her bike, nope.

My point is, we all like different things and that's what makes our hobby fun. I'm in the hot rod business, and it's the same way with them. For instance, I love the looks of a 32' Ford, I wouldn't own one though, they are about the most uncomfortable cars to drive.

Now, do I like the Rocker or Rocker C? Well, let me put it to you like this, when I seen the pictures of it I knew I better find me a Deuce before they were all gone. Then I seen them in person, and was glad I mad the decision I did. The both of them look great from behind, but, then you walk around the the side and for me the profile just isn't right. And all of that cast gray on the Rocker looks terrible. Does any of this matter to you, hey, as long as you like what your riding then you shouldn't care what anyone else thinks. I think the Rockers are going to be one of those bikes that you either love it or you hate it, not much in between.

I will say I'm looking forward to seeing what some of the Rocker owners do to them. I'm sure some of the guys will do some great stuff. Just don't take it so personal, cause it's not.

Sorry for getting so defensive.
I quess I still have the chip on my shoulder from riding an AMF Sportser for the last 35 years and having to endure all theAMF wisercracks. After hearing how that bike was a p.o.s. and wouldn't last, it's been a great bike. I do believe that in time the Rocker C will win over alot of people. It's going to be interesting to see how people gauge the performance of the bike after it's been out there a bit.
I also apoligize for my "Black Harley remark". Hell, I love something about all of em.
Sorry again for the rant.

Harley Bass , As i said before, its only MY opinnion.

I felt dissapointed cuz i went to see the bike with the idea i had from the pics i saw.
I had a sportster 1200 and now i own a Night Train,.I didnt buy them with the idea of
what people can say,i love how they look and how I feel riding them.So pls dont tell ME
why i bought my bike,,I never said anything against anyone.

Let me be honest....I did buy my bike because it says Harley Davidson too,cuz i want to have
a HARLEY DAVIDSON since i am a kid.Its not fast ,,it has a poor handling, the heat from the engine kills me in
during the sumer and i can tell u a lot of cons it has comparing a jap bike,..BUT i love how it looks i loveits sound ,,i love
to be looked when i stop anywhere. I do enjoy all of those things a Harley represents.

Thats why, when i saw the Rocker (stock) with that jap looks i felt it didnt represent ME what a Harley should.

But i never say never,..maybe in a time after getting used to it,,who knows,,

Say what you want, I love my Rocker C. I finish every ride wanting to keep on going. Best Harley I've ever had. The wife has been on the fold out seat, no complaints...says it rides as good as my Wide Glide did. I'm not sure where the "cheap looking" comments come from. The chrome is first rate, as are all the welds, the paint is awesome, and the rest is engine and transmission, the same as every other Harley. Don't understand that one. Anyway, see you on the highway, I'll be the guy with the perpetual smile on his face.

I think the cheap comments are focused more towards the Rocker, not the Rocker C. That cast silver or gray just doesn't look good, in my opinion. And hey, as said before, what I or anyone else thinks of your bike doesn't matter, as long is you like it. And like Saint said, maybe in time it will grow on me, afterall, the tank is off a Deuce.

For the most part Harley people have been slow to warm up to change... Many of the new motors, Bikes, styles... Many were made fun of... Some became part of the culture...Some not.
My first imprestion of the Rocker C i saw was lukewarm...
I still say to each his own.... If ya like it ride!!!!!
