I've looked in the manual and can't find any mention of a max weight on the passenager pillion. I own a Rocker C and did not buy it intending to carry a passenger most of the time. I view the Rocker as a solo bike and knew that when purchasing but I'm sure some owner's will throw a passenger on for long trips but not me.

Obviously I'm partial to the Rocker C and the following opinions are just my own.

It seems to me that HD marketing did their research and found that the large majority of their customer base is aging (not tryingto offend anyone) and in the next 5-15 years will not be the majority of new buyers. Therefore, they needed to create something that would get people in their mid 20's-mid 30's buying their bikes. I fit the bill perfectly as I'm 31. I grew up riding dirt bikes and owned a couple of metrics before I got married and bought a house at 21. Our youngest is 2 1/2, our oldest is 6 1/2, and my stress level between family and mainly work has increased 500%. I really needed another bike to calm me down and I have known since I was 25 that when I got another it would be HD.

I say all of this because I have been around one bike or another most of my life but their haven't been any HD models that I have absolutely said "I've got to have one of those"....until the Rocker C.

[ul][*]Does it have a custom look? Absolutely.[*]Does it look strange to some? Yes, but so did the Deuce to most.[*]Do I take offense when someone states that they hate the Rocker? Not at all![*]Does it say Harley-Davidson? You bet ya![/ul]

Those that don't care for the Rocker probably love the Crossbones and those that don't care for the Crossbones probably love the Rocker! I think that each bike is tailored to specific demographic and HD does a great job doing so.

Obviously everyones opinions are different and you can state them...that's what makes this country great!

Bottom line to me whether you like a model or not, they all say Harley-Davidson on the side.

Ride Safe!!!

Totally agree with you,,,Thats why when i started this post i didnt say ANYTHING about the Rocker as a good or
a bad bike with future or not,,
I just saw the ROCKER not the ROCKER C and for what i was expecting its has a ver plastic and "cheap " look FOR ME.
As someone said "the cast gray, looks different with less maintenance. Reminds me of titanium... "For ME in reminds me
an cheap Jap bike,,plastic,,.

One more time its a question of taste,,,Thats why people love their 68 camaros/mustangs ,and other say,,,ooohh for the same money
i preffer a new subaru /honda ,,,,those cars are old and smell old!,,,hahahahah,,,,[&:]

For what it's worth, I own an Ultra and a Rocker C. I love the Rocker C, but don't care for the base Rocker at all. Not a fan of the powder coating, and I feel it looks completely different than the C.

But opinions are like you know what....As long as we all love our bikes, who really cares what others think about them. I know I could care less....

Another Rocker thread? Looks ok, wouldnt buy one. Rather have a cross bones. Im young and bought a Fat Boy, I bought a harley for tradition and cause there is ONLY one MoCo that builds MoCo bikes... Harley-Davidson. Crossbones or Night Trains are the only other bike Id consider than mine. Next bike will most likely be a super stripped down bobber with a springer and a good sized rake WITH a Twin Cam.

TWolfe, LMAO, luv the attitude. I don't like the Rocker either. It looks sike something I could outrun with my sons 84 Honda Shadow.
TY, my friend. I'm NOT a "chrome junkie", so alla my $ goes to handling, brakes, and power!

Didja see the messed up fold out P pad on the Rocker C???

Whatta POS! Even the LITTLE chicks I know (100 lbs) would NOT ride on THAT! They LOVE my big ol' COUCH!

The Rockers are a FAILED cross between MY bike and a raked out chopper. WTF is HD THINKIN'???

At least the 'Bones would look good with some black pipes...

You wouldnt want me pulling up beside you with your girl. Trust me. Your bike wouldnt get a second look. They would all be gathered around my rocker C. And your girl would curl her nose up at you and your standard

I like both the Rocker and the V-Rod. I have a hard time justifing dropping that amount of cash when I can only ride part of the year. That is why I have my sportster and love it. I like the fact that HD is trying different styles. If the bikes don't sell they will just discontine that model. Only time will tell.
