Congrats on your new ride.. I picked up my new Crossbones on Wednesday from Dallas HD in Garland, Tx. The weather
was perfect for the 230 mile ride back to Arkansas.. I'll try and get some pics of mine up. It's all stock but I added all the
bolt on options, Bags, passenger seat and sissy bar..

cmoore1966, if you wouldnt mind can you take some extra pics of the saddle bags, thinking about getting them for mine but like to see some all around pics of them on the bike, cant really tale from the hd website how wide they are or how they look at different angles. thanks for any pics in advance.
Hey BTL. Try this link to some pics of it. It's in the garage so the lighting isn't that good.
When it stops raining here I will put some better ones up

I put it on "hold" wednesday, but wanted the Vance and Hines Short Shots Staggered in BLACK put on and a seat for my ol' lady and HD's new custom detachable sissy bar for it is sweet!
I had guys swarming all over it as I was trying to take delivery, but lemme know what you think.

...lemme know if ya want more pics, I'd be happy to ride it to scenic locations far away from here to take them! [sm=biker2.gif]
Congrats. You are going to absolutely love the XBones. I have had mine a week and half and already had to have my 500 mile service done yesterday. I have the passenger pillion, sissybar and stuff on order and hopefully will be here next week. It looks really good on your bike. I love the pipes also. What did they have to do to the EFI to tune it in, download, fuel pak or what. I have not heard those pipes, how loud are they or do they have just a good mellow tone?
I put on a "ThunderMax" which was pricey, but the peace of mind with the "auto-tune" versus a replaced map, which will then need replacing for future mods, I felt was worth it. I have a 2005 1200R and didn't get everything I wanted out of the box, or afterwards really, so I wanted this one done right the first time.
The start-up and idle are classic, unbridled Harley-like-it-should-sound-from-the-factory-Davidson. ANY acceleration will serve as a primal warning to all blood-pumping creatures that the top of the food chain is rollin' through! It's loud and... louder! My wife wears a full-face helmet and they exit right by her foot and she likes it(previously worried about it being too loud). At cruising speed it purrs, but not like a kitten, more like a tiger(if tigers were the purring type of cat).
So...
Cruising - Mild Harley Purr
Mild Acceleration - Weren't there baffles in these things?
Hard-ish Acceleration - Holy Shinto! I am at the All Harley Drags!!! [sm=badbadbad.gif]
...and a big thanks to all who appreciate it! HD finally made one for me =P
I am new to the forum and wanted to share the joy! My Cross Bones finally came in, here's a pic of it up on the lift at the dealers. I am so excited to be taking delivery this Friday. You all have some awesome rides!!! I am looking forward to being a contributing member!
