Intake leak and spark plugs question

Intake leak and spark plugs question
I found out I have an intake leak in the rear cylinder, no big deal to fix says my indy mechanic, but I am wondering if I should change the spark plugs just to be sure they weren't damaged. Is this step recommended or even needed? Anything else I should check out? Thanks for your help..

If you suspect there may be a problem, then by all means pull them out andcheck them. It won't hurt to be sure, and a pair of plugs is cheap enough that ifafter looking your still not sure get a pair of new ones. Unless you do something dumb like cross thread them your not going to hurt a thing.
