If I am measuring correctly the oem bars are the equivalent of a 12" riser bar. I want a double T type riser about the same height but swept back a few inches. Any suggestions?
beard63...... noticed you live in Springdale. I lived in Fayetteville for several years.....really miss the weather and scenery. You going to the mulberry run in july?
About the bars, I think I remember athread where a guy changed risers with deuce bars to move them back. Might be in one of the apehanger threads
The duece has the same front end as the fxstc, so I don't see why not?
do a search on the forum i pretty sure I've seen someone on here that
has done it.

I just finished my 'winter mods' and changed out the stock FXSTC bars for the HD Bombay bars w/mini tach housing. They are not as tall as the stock bars and come back farther than stock ones. They are very similar to the ones on BlackDragons ride, but I think they may come back a little farther.
Here's a couple of pics where you can see the difference between the stockers and my new ones. First the new bars.
Next, the old ones. I tipped them back about 4"to see if I could make them a little more comfortable and it worked, but they were still too high for me.
The pic's are not too great, and the bike needs a spring cleaning bad. But I think they areclear enough for you to see what they look like.
