First im 6'4" and have a 07 FSXT. I need some advice. I'm looking at ethier the wild one 501's or 12" apes. I need to bring my hands back about an inch or too but dont want to waste my money on risers because i dont like my stock bars.Just wondering if my arms would be more comfortable higher or lower. Any advice would be helpfull. Thanks.
I guess you could call me biased, but nothing but apes will do for me. I've been riding with them for years and I've loved every minute. I can't wait til the 16's for my new scoot get here!
I love the mini apes on my FXSTC but drag bars look cool too hell just look at the lone rider in the beginning of Live By It on the HD site...those bars look cool....word of advise, if your gonna ride a long distance try to keep your arms no higher thenyourshoulder, the blood will run away from your hands and that ain't good..
Narlly photo. can you realy make 24" apes a daily driver. I mean i think it would get tiring after a while. Should i look at something shoulder level or maby just below?

Sure can - have dopne multiple 12+ hour trips (same day) and also shorter trips 3 - 5 hrs a pop. I'm 6'5"...no problems whatsoever.
I put 507 drags on my deuce (tallest drag bar). I'm 6'3" and it fits me great. I'm thinking about swapping to apes just for a different look...If I chance them I am
thinking 12 1/2 apes would fit me best
