My Bud bought a 03 Springer softtail, and would like to know if he has a Sert on it , How would he find out?, other than going to a dealer?, He just got a FUELPAC and when he goes WOT he gets a red light on the speedo???? Help!!

 

The SERT isn't an accessory that is mounted on the bike. It's a computer program and a black box (interface) that connects to the ECM to reprogram it.

 

I know that!, What I need to know if the it has had a sert installed!,How do you find that info?

 

I think the point is that, since there is no extra hardware installed with the SERT, I can't think of any way you can just look at it to see if a SERT was used to reprogram the ECU. I might be wrong there, but I can't think of any visual clue that would show it's installed.

 

I would think if it had been tuned with SERT it would have came with the bike because it cant be used on any other ECM. You can also ask your Harley dealer because they would have a record.
