RE: Picking up my new crossbones in the morning- can't wait!
Congrats on the new XBones. You will absolutely love it. I took my on a 215 mile trip to the tail of the dragon (318 curves in 11 miles) and put it thru the paces. The XBones handles like a dream bike, so smooth, and loves those curves. Go easy for the first 500 miles and then you are ready to go. Jerry

Crossbones, noticed you throttle cable guide on your detachable windshield. HD revised the mounting location for that guide on 4/4/08 because the location orginally specified in the instructions that came with the kit, the guide can hit the tank when you turn the handlebars full right. Email me at tnharley@comcast.net and I will send you the revised pdf instructions that HD Customer Service sent me. Otherwise, you picked out a great bike. Jerry

yea, seat is very nice. had a mustang on my old sporty and loved it. this one isn't as comfortable as that one, but have already done a 150 miler on it without a stop and noproblem. love the look it gives the bike. wouldn't change it unless it hurt to ride it.
