I was detailing my bike today and noticed a grey rubbery type stuff along the entire center seam of the engine on the bottom side of the bike. It appears to be a gasket or sealer put in when the engine was assembled. It is not wet or anything and shows no signs of leaking any fluids, but I have never noticed it before. It has probably been there since the factor assembly, but just wanted to ask.

You are like the third person to tell me that., LOL. In the winter here in North Texas the Bermuda grass goes dormant and turns brown. It is turning green now. If you want green grass in the winter here, you have to plant St. Augustine, or winter rye.
It's case sealant, they don't use a gasket on the case halves. Be careful when cleaning the bike. I sprayed mine with carb cleaner to get the cases nice and spotless and it ate the sealant and creaked an oil leak.
