I have ordered a new crossbones and would like to put this pipe on it, but it looks like it might not work if im going to have a passenger with me. Does anyone know if the pipes are compatable with a passenger?
It looks like the passenger would have to keep shoes out to make sure they dont burn against pipe.
I would consider a different pipe with a passenger.
Call yaffe and see what they would say.
Although my bike is a Fatboy, and a 95, you lose the passenger footpeg because of the mounting bracket....don't know if that info helps...also, I HIGHLY suggest if you go with these pipes, keep an eye out for the welds where the mounting brackets attach. I went through 2 sets of pipes within 2 months, they kept breaking at where they attach[:@]
BUT, each time I called them, their service was outstanding!
Wound up selling the last new set, and going with my Hookers
Thanks for the info. I think Im going to go with the pipes because I dont ride with a passenger too often.
PhatTrain: how do the pipes sound on your bike. I prefer the sound you get with vance and hines pipes but wouldnt mind a little louder. I just dont want obnoxiously loud pipes.
