Does this happen to you?
I purchased a helmet from HD when I picked upmy bike. My bike has awindshield on it, I've been riding the bike without the windshield lately and the helmet feels like it wants to come off my head, I have the strap on as tight as it will go. Is this normal, or is my helmet to loose?

my helmet stays in place, now,as a matter of fact i thought my strap was on tight enough but i was able to pull it tighter but it isn't as comfy. i cant wait to get a windshield, so that i can loosen the strap

Think it's normal. Especially with the "mushroom" helmets as they sit on your head a little higher. I've found that if you lean helmet a little forward it reduces (not elimates) the helmet pulling sensation.

What helmet are you taking about..I bought one from HD and had to return it for a different reason, but my just DOT bucket without the visor doesn't move at all, with the visor is would from time to time..

I am terribly tired of folks trying to convince other folks they would be better off with an open face helmet than a full face. I have seen these debates for years and they are just plain stupid. I respect each person's right to choose but come on now. If you look at any stats and have any sense at all a full face will provide more protection, more often.............period. I wear both so I am not taking a side here but I do object to the rag doll comment.Ride safe!!
