Hey guys (& gals) I'm looking to add a new product to the ones I already handle. It is an air cleaner cover that is a bit different. Here are some pictures along with pricing. What I'm looking for is some input. Do you see this as a product that will move or not? While not for everyone it may work on the hardcore look as well as the subtle look. As a end user what questions would you have (that I'll relay to the manufacture)? I have to bring in a handful so I'm thinking a polished and a black of each to start, you know just to check them out.
DUB
LUG (My favorite)
TORQUE
The three finshes available, plished, black anodized and brushed.
Polished $114.00
Black Anodize $96.00
Brushed $104.00
Is that pricing going to include the back plate, filter and breather plumbing?
Or are you going to have to supply your own back plate (Big Sucker, K&N, etc.) and just put one of these 'covers' on the end of the filter?
ORIGINAL: Puzzled
Hmmm that's a good idea, custom matched to the wheels. I wonder what kind of coin that would take?
You might want to speak to a lawyer before you try anything like that. You 'could' run intocopyright infringement issues that need to be dealt with first.
It is a cover to go over what ever existing stuff you have. The manufacture calls it a Stage 1 cover. So I'd assume it fits the common stuff well. I know my Mikuni filter is pretty dam big so I'd have to see how it fits that.
For a $100 with a backing plate and filter that would be a steal.I have close to $300 into my Cycle Visions MOFLO with all of the pieces.
