I've seen in the HD catalog that they offer a passenger backrest for the Rocker. Will that one work on the Rocker-C passenger seat?? It looks like the passenger seat for the regular Rocker is different than the Rocker-C on the way it mounts. It also looks bigger than the Rocker-C. Anyone got the lowdown on this one??
Yeah, the passenger pillion on the C is completely different than the one they sell for the regular Rocker. Since the C folds out from under the seat, there is no way to moun that big one on there. I'm thinking of playing around with making some other accessories to fit the pillion frame when it's folded out. Obviously it won't fit under the seat with the pad, but something like a small luggage rack to carry a lunch box or bed roll....or perhaps a backrest that will latch in under the pillion pad.
Gib, Funny you mention the luggage rack I was just talking to someone about that yesterday. It would be great. Leave it in the garage, but if you need to make a quick trip to the store you can snap it on. I was thinking something like this http://www.harley-davidson.com/gma/g...bmLocale=en_US
That's pretty much in line with what I was thinking, but I was going to go one further, by making it use the passenger pillion pad as a backrest pad. Saves money.
I have a few more ideas up my sleeve too...stay tuned.
I love my Rocker (C) but a little more storage would be nice. I did make a bracket that turned the passenger pillion into a back rest for me, it really makes my longer trips easier. It folds up and stores in the fork bag when not in use or I am riding 2up.
I'd love to have a backrest for the Passenger tho without having to add the whole rocker kit.
got tired of searching after 3 weeks. took it to a fabricator and waala, hes making 50 of them. its a bracket that attaches to passenger frame then the regular rocker sissy bar bolts right to it. it sits high in middle of the passangers back. i will have some picts next week picking it up today. for more info shoot me a e-mail jchristian@charterinternet.com. we will be selling them.
Here are a couple pictures. there not very good quality i took them with my cell phone. I will have good ones later today, shoot me an e-mail and i can email them to you. jchristian@charterinternet.com[ATTACH][ATTACH]Attachment 123416
