That's kind of how I felt but is hard to picture. Thanks for the input. Gunner I like the blinker relocation. Is that Harley's kit? I wish I knew about that last summer. I took my blinks off now I'm in the middle of an auxilary kit install.

No Blatzwood, it's not a HD kit. I got the idea here at HD forums and did it myself.Just a couple of SS bolts with the heads cut off and a couple of chrome spacers. Total cost maybe $20 if that and the look is %100 better.
I just discovered this awesome forum. I've took delivery of my first custom Harley a few weeks ago. A Vivid Black 08 Fat Boy. Here is what a chrome engine guard looks like. No highway pegs yet.
Not pictured: The bike looks cool with thethe stock passenger seat removed but slotted holes are left in the fender. If you leave the stock hardware to hold the seat rearin place - it looks out of place. Harley makes plugs for the holes but the seat is only fastened from the tank end. Doesn't seem to be a problem when riding? Has anyone reduced the stock seat to a solo saddle? Any advice...
