Yep. I have always wanted a shop of my own to play in. I worked in the gun business for about 10 years and learned how to do machine work and weld. I found a nice Bridgeport in Chicago, and a Southbend tool room lathe from Catapiller in Peoria. I bought the Lincoln TIG and tubing bender new cause I couldn't find them used. With all the made in China stuff around, it's hard to find good equipment around here. I'd rather have a 20 year old lathe than buy a new on made in China. At least with the Bridgeport and Southbend stuff, you can still find parts for them.

Great fab. Nice ideas, really old skool doing your own. Probably way better than the Lindby anyway. Powdercoat them black to match the frame. Look great. May save you in a low speed slide out too. Just squeeze the tank with those nice looking knees.
