I know there are several threads floating round concerning the Crossbones rear fender but I just wanted to ask what might be a simple question. What standard full fender would be a straight swap for the standard crossbones boat-tail fender?

I was thinking perhaps fatboy, but I don't know whether the width of the crossbones fender covering that fat rear tire needs a fender wider than a fatboy, or whether it's the same width as an '08 fatboy.

Does anyone know whether there is one that bolts straight onor would I have to cut and stretch to get the width?

All advice welcome. I'm sure me and several hundred others are interested.

07 fat boy rear fender will fit!

 

07 or 08 fatboy rear fender will fit. Mounting holes are the same and its the same width, both run a 200 rear tire.

 

Yeah the 07 08 Fatboy should fit any of the 200mm softails. I put one on my 07 Train.

 

I used the DBO rear fender from hogpro.com.... I cut 8" off from the bottom... Fitment and full install tonight.. will take pics..

Do you have any pics of your whole bike from the front? I want to do the same thing. Are the new heritage's the 200mm tire? I like there fender too...

 

Heritage is still a 150..so the fender won't fit.

any softtail fenders that fit a 200 mm tire should work.
