I've got the 422's. Much more stable dampening but if you slam it, it will compromise ride quality somewhat.Fortunately, raising the ride height is simple and relatively quick.
Thanks for the help.I am probably going to stay with the stock height. I am just looking to improve the ride/handling of it. I found a set of 413's for $250 and the 422's are $370. Other than the 422's being Chromethere doesn't appear to be much difference.If the 422's are a better shock I wouldn't mind paying more butI don't want to pay extra just because they arechrome.

Have no idea if there is any other difference, just know that new they said 413s replaced by 422s...bet there isn't much if any difference and $ are $. Nothing but roadkill sees the chrome on shocks anyway John

How is the ride with a passenger withthe 422's if you lower 2 inches? I am looking to lower my 07 nightrain and I ride 2 up alot. Budd...do you still have the 422's and if your not using them would you like to sell them?
