I slammed it as low as the kit will allow, I believe it was almost 2.5" from stock.I put on about 50 km's today and it is very rough. It is like riding a ridgid, because there is no movement in the swingarm. I was very careful not to scrape my pipes on turns. It looks so good, but I do not think it will stay that low, especially when my wife comes for a ride. It is very easy to adjust with a 15/16 wrench, it takes about 10 minutes.

If you go super low make sure you increase the spring preload to keep it from slamming the bumper over everything. I have mine set as firm as they can go and have about 1/2-3/4 between the swingarm and the bumper on the oil bag. It rides hard but whenI took Mama for a ride I raised it uparound 1/2-3/4" and left preload alone. It rode fine and the wife didn't bitch one bit on our 120 mile ride.

For $99 bucks you could do the front and rear seems steep but thats nice there is no shock dismantel needed. As far as the bolts, check flea bay I got a set shipped for about 15 bucks, but was charged $35 to press out the old and put on the new.Looks great though, nothing better than a pipe scrapin bike

I have the same kit and love it. I've ridden on a 1,600 mile trip with it slammed. Yeah it was rough when I had to pee though...haha.

Don't be ashamed if you scrape your pipes/pegs/floorboards!!!!!!! It shows you get out there and ride the hell out of your scoot! I've got the Vance and Hines Sideshots and my bottom pipe is about 1/3 closed from me scraping and takin' turns. I've got the HD rear lowering kit and it only allows for about a 1" drop. I don't get stupid with my bike (a lot) but part of the reason we ride is to have fun right? I'll post some pics this week of my pipes.
