[:@][:@][:@]WHen i bought my bike the dealer installed all the equipment. The first time my wife sat on the bike, she informed me the pass pegs were uneven. i immediatly called the stealer and told him it was unacceptable, and extramley uncomfortable for my wife. he told me that because the pipes i chose were a 2-1 the peg had to be moved up. i of course told him that was fine just raise the left peg to be even.i dropped the bike off and when i picked it up the service mgr tells me that vance & hines gave the peg support to them for the right side but didnt have one for the left. i informed him that i was sure he had a fix and that i couldn't possibly be the first person to have this problem. i told him to get a reasonable fix for the issue or change the pipes out to one that would not have this issue. i also told him i need it fixed before my new owner survey arrives at my house. i am now patiently waiting for his response or my survey..lol
Quite interesting. Women are very picky andyour wifenailed this one right.Hardly the stealer's fault, they did what YOU ordered. V&H should've mentioned that "inconvenience" or provided the left extension. Let us know what happens.
I don't think it is really the dealers fault. If anything,, it's a design flaw from the manufacturer. (Not providing hardware for the other footpeg) Ya can't really knock the dealer for this one. IMHO
This one will be interesting, I wonder what the dealer will do? Let us know.
My moneys on the stealer telling you its not their problem. You can try to use the survey as a bargaining chip, good luck on that. I'd invest in a set of $69 offset peg mounts and move on.
Vance & Hines dosent supply the left peg bracket. You have to purchase it separately. I wasnt informed either. Not a big deal to me. The kit comes with everything to install the pipe with, nothing more.
