RE: Radio Shack Siren On an 07 Night Train!!! -HOW TO-
Oh man this is AWSOME! Thanks for the info! Question: Do you know what type of female plug to buy so it will be plug and play?
FYI - I was just reading the manual for my 01 deuce (actually manual is applicable for all 01 softails). There is an option to adjust the motion sensitivity of the secutiry system, so I am assuming the bikes have a motion sensor somewhere....this is great so if someone bumps into the bike the serine will woot woot!!! Very Cool. I was going to buy a serine wheel lock, however I think I should be okay with locking the fork and installing the serine.
Call me stupid, but did your bike have the alarm before? Buttonless FOB?
Most of the 2007 softails came with the "optional" Security system. The dealer only removes it, or disables it, if u request the dealer to. SO u save a few hundred bucks when u purchase ur bike.
This is a hands free (buttonless) FOB.
It activates the alarm on its own when its out of reach. About 6 feet from the bike. You will not be able to start the bike if u do not have the FOB with in range of the bike. THe older bikes came with a FOB that had a button. So u needed to activate and deactivate by pushing the button like car alarms.
So, if u havea FOBin ur key chain. or If it came with the bike I should say. U have the security system in ur bike and you will be able to do this upgrade. Any other questions . please ask.

Is that on all of the bikes?
Im guessing urs is a 2007 FXSTB so it should work on urs if u have the SMart security system. and the pics are of the 2007 FXSTB so it should be the same.

Excellent information, let me know if you find which female plug it is!
Below is an image of the plug on my 01 deuce. The plug was looking at me right behind the pannel, neatly tucked in there with a twist tie. Tight area to work in. Going to pick up the alarm tomorrow.

I have a 01 deuce with the security system and the plug is there, so yes it should work and a 04...(just uncrew the 2 bolts behind the rear tire and take a peak.)
