95 heritage classic engine stall

Good evening gang,new to this forum.I own a 95 Heritage classic when the bike goes above 65 mph the engine cuts out. When I back off to 55 mph the engine pops,sputters and starts. This happens about 50% of the time. Any imput would be appreciated Thanks Ticked 1

Could be alot of things, is it a stock bike? Mine ended up being the air cleaner letting too much air intop the bike, I found out by putting my hand in front of it and the bike cam back to life

Don't know if yours has a rev limiter on it, but that may be what is happening if you are in too low of a gear at the time.

Need alittle more info, but my 1999 Heritage would "bark" at me when I let off the throttle at just about any speed, and on starting it would couch alot until the temps came up some. Ihave a stage one intake and exhaust. A very smart Harley mech told me to rejet the carb. I did and it solved the probelm. That was today. I'm very happy now wth a bike Iwas getting readdy to spend alot of unnecessary money on.
