If you go with 2" or smaller baffles you don't need to do anything bolt on and ride

even if you stay stock you need a fuel management just to keep the bike from running hot because of the EPA. I gained 11 hp and 9 tq and it is well worth it. Rush says dont go over 1.75 unless you change engine like cams. the stock fuel system will work with the 2in slip ons and no air breather but it is still too lean. also you leave no leeway if you were to get into a lean environment. 1.75 would give you the Harley sound and more TQ.

I put Rush 2" on my 07 Heritage with no other changes, talked to the dealer and the local dyno tuner both said the same thing.
Put them on and go, sound great and runs great

The 1.5" baffles are not quiet, so either those or the 1.75's will be fine. I'd still add on something to richen it up. I chose the nightrider.com IED's and am quite happy. If you change the intake, you will need a new map.

When I called Rush in Late 2006 they said they'd just got through testing and 2.0's were fine. 2.25 and they said; forget it.

Bolt on and ride.

I put 2" Rushs on my '08 FatBoy - BUT also went with a power commander and a HD SE air filter..... runs great, no popping and sounds more like a Harley than before.

FuelMoto will do a package deal, and pre-load the correct map for your situation - can't beat the price or their attention to detail.

Hey, if you can wait about a week, I'll sell you my 2" Rush Slips ons from my '08 Fatboy. These are practically brand new with only about 200 miles on them. I decided to go with a full system so i wont need these. No nicks or scratches of any kind. I just ordered the V&H BSS last night and it'll probably be a week until they get here. So, if you can wait, i can definitely save you some money. Let me know. My email is nat3157@msn.com
