I installed the smart siren andpagerin my 2008 FATBOY and it is awesome. I realize that It may not stop a professional thief, however it does give me some peace of mind. Has anyone had there pager go off while away from your bike?

 

I have pager and have been disappointed with it. Went to Bike Week and was never close enough for the pager to receive signal. I believe it only works up to 1/2 mile. Also, had it in hotel room and signal was not received. I am going to contact dealer and find out a little more about limitations of reciever.

 

the literature informs that pager is only good for 1/2 mile more/less. i was not surprized by this. still, i purchased it and consider it a useful deterent.
