I used 5/16 24 all thread, cut about 1.5"s off for each side, blue loctited the studs in the forks then used two chrome nuts to hold the fork tin and light respectively. I have maybe enough space to fit a thin washer between the two nuts so the all thread doesn't show at all. Cost me about 5 bucks.
I bought a 3' section of thread bar. I need a little more thread since I picked up a couple chrome spacers that are about 1/2-3/4" and I think they'll make it look a little better than just using nuts. I'll post up when I'm done.
Hey ya'll glad I found this thread. I am going to redo the front end of my Heritage and remove passing lamps, etc... Are these turn signals ya'll are using just regular HD bullet turn signals?
I went with the blue loctight and chrome spacer. I tried the nut look, but didn't like it. The TS on the forks cleans up the bars and looks a lot better I think.

My fatboy had the heritage passing lamps on it when I got it, I didn't care for the look so I went with these lights mounted how I posted earlier. Cut and soldered the conections and then shrink wrapped the conections, turned out great.
RockyTopRider, Yes they are the original bullet turn signals. I put the visor lenses on mine yesterday ans with the visor for the headlight, they look pretty good together.
