I replaced the original tractor seat with the brawler...now trying to use the original seat by having it cut down and putting 2" springs on it. Found the original seat way to high..I'm 5'8"..any thoughts about after market solo seats???
sarge 4 life has a brawler on his xbones and loves it. i though about doing the same thing, but my wife loves the look of the stock seat. funny thing is i also am 5'8 and have no problem with the height of the seat....if you get the smaller springs let me know how it comes out
Hey harleybones... I have the brawler seat on my Xbones. I love the seat very comfortable. I'd keep the brawler I think it fits the bike really good. Keep me posted on what you decide on. Ride hard and ride safe
Just got the 2" springs and put them on this morning...like them lots better than the stock...sitting lower...feels more comfortable...I also have the brawler seat and pillon for riding double but like the looks of the stock seat. Stock seat feels like you are on top of the bike..brawler feels like you are in the bike
Should be getting the 2" springs in any day now. I'm 6' and I even think that the 3" bring me up too high like floating above the bike. Ordered the standard 2" coil and the 2" Hairpin style to see which ones I like better. Ordered 16" Apes also as I had to reach a little down twords the baby apes.. Guess thats one down fall of being tall.
Floating on top of the bike with the 3" springs is a very good description...with the foam cut out of the seat and the 2" springs it feels like being back in bike
Anybody aware of a passenger seat that goes with the stock solo seat....the dealer added the brawler seat before I purchased it and I bought the pillion that goes with it. It doesn't fit with the solo stock seat. Any suggestions???
