Default Big Shots Staggered or Straightshots HS

I have a 06 Softail Fxst and was looking at the Bigh Shots Staggered and the Straightshots HS and was wanting any information I could get. Which one will give me the best sound and be the easiest to put on. Also when installing either of this exhaust, will they keep you from checking any fluids in the primary or transmission. Thanks for any help.

I have the straightshots HS on my night train. They were easy to install and do not interfere with anything. I did the lollipop trick on them to make them sound how i wanted. IMO, they were too quiet with the stock baffles, and too poppy without the baffles.

My Straightshots do not interfere with anything. They are similar to the pipes that you have on now. You may consider the non hs version of the Straightshots since it's over $200 more for the hs's. I have over 6k on mine and have no yellowing or blueing. I have 3 different baffles I can put in mine....standard, quiet and Thunder Monsters to change the sound when I want to. BTW, V&H offers Hot Tips for the Straightshots that are not available for the Big Shots (as far as I know). I currently have the slash tips on mine and really look great (not shown in the photo).

I have the longshots and they sound and look great. I do have a stage 1 setup (K&N, V*H long bigshots and power commanderIIIR). The sound is great and have probably helped V&H sell a lot of these pipes. whatever your choice I don't think you will be dissapointed.

Well, I can only speak for the Vance & Hines Big Shots Staggereds, just got them a couple of weeks ago along with the Power Commander, the bike now sounds like a beast! Not too loud, not too mellow, but loud enough, a nice deep and angry rumble. My bike gained about 10 HPs according to the Dyno graph. Here are some pics
