I'm doing some massive upgrades - 08 Deluxe - at the dealer right now.. they asked if I wanted to replace the timer cover ?
Since much of the engine is chrome and I'm chroming the inner primary -along w/ all chrome hardware.. I guess they figured they ask..

However I thought that the Timer Cover was already chrome ? I gave them the go-ahead.. but since the bike is not here .. I thought I would put it out here for a quick answer...

Is it polished aluminum ?

 

The stock cover is aluminum junk and butt ugly...get the Classic Chrome cover. It's smooth, no swirly stuff

 

Anything chrome just not the stock spun aluminum! What else you doing? we want pics when done er.. at least I do!

Why no PM chrome rear caliper ? I have a rear PM chrome caliper on my 2010 Deluxe along with the PM chrome 6 piston front.Is there something different about a 2008?
