Windshield for my '08 Fatboy?
Greetings!! Besides my intro posting, this is my first post seeking some help from the forum. I just got an '08 105th Fatboy and I am looking for some type of quick-release windshield. Harley's offeringis OK; however, I'd like something that doesn't leave behind any hardware. Any after market shields your would suggest?

I have the HARLEY DAVIDSON detachable windshield and the only thing left when it is off are the screws that hold the fork plate on with a a little nipple on the end. It isn't even noticable unless you point it out to people. here is a pic of the model that I have.

Check out Memphis Shades before you go with the stealership models, you'll save at least 100 bucks and the Memphis Shades are wayyyyy cooooler and have much more style than do the stealers.

I am having the low smoked HD detach installedon my 08 anniv fatboy this week along with some new apes and other goodies. I'll post pics early next week.

Here is a pic of my fatboy with the HD Low Profile smoked windshield and a pic without it. Its not a real good pic to see the windshield. I am real happy with the windshiled and the ease of removal.

how did you guys decide which size to get? I'm tall and sit high on the saddle, so I assume I should go with a the tall, but I don't want to be looking thru the windshield do I? And if it's to short won't I be getting buffeting?
