Default belt guard

Do you have to remove the rear tire onthe Heritage to put chrome belt guard?? Would like to add some chrome to clean up the area

Thanks for any help

Almost positive you don't have to remove the tire. Should just be 3 bolts/nuts holding it on. Not at the shop so I don't have a manual handy but as far as I can remember, I have never taken off the tire to do a belt guard swap.

no need to remove the rear wheel, infact i have my upper and lower chome guardsfor sale. fit 99 softail.
