Default Safe to ride??

Well just made a deal with the stealer, Trading in for a Night Train.....dont ask!!!!!
I have replaced Thunder max, and SE air cleaner with the stock ones, leaving the pipes and cams with the deal.
My question is.... with stock ECM and air cleaner would it do any harm to run the bike for the 2hour trip to the dealer considering i am still running the vance pipes and SE cams??? any good advice will be appreciated.....

Nothing should be wrong if u go from your place to your dealer like that ,just dont overrev the engine.
BUT keep an eye on the temp engine light if anything is wrong the enigne light will help u to know with time to slow down a little .

good luck!,..and welcome to the TRAIN world!

A littel consideration for the next owner may be in order here. More than likely the dealer will turn it around and sell it to someone else who may not know to modify the air intake for proper running of the engine. While I am in no hurry to help the dealer make money I would be upset if I bought the bike and it had problems.

If you cant ride it properly to get it there then you are only shafting the next owner...

Thanks for the advice chaps;........ the reason im trading for the train is mainly money reasons, i have all my cash tied up in my bike and i need to release some money quick, the dealer is going to take my bike and finance the night train through my business. He only has a night train left in stock, if i wanted another fat boy would have to wait untill september, i really fancy the night train, seen some great trains on this forum and have already got the heartland 250 conversion kit to put on it....

By the way im going to use the trailer
