I am trying to remove the stock mufflers on my 07 fatboy to install the Rush slip-ons......
There are Six 3/8" bolts holding them to the mounting bracket...Access is next to impossible...
Unless, is there a "Special" tool to access these without removing the whole exhaust system?
Any suggestions??
No worries......got em on.........took a test ride.....sounds and runs Nice....weird smell at end of ride
tho...maybe just " breakin in smell ??".........Louder than I thought 1.75's would be tho.....
My mate said this morning the exact same thing re sound on the 1.75's... and he has listened to my bike a few times the past week. you might find that they mellow a bit once settled in ( he didn;t mention a smell )

Don't count on it. I believe mine have actually gotten louder since I put them on1500 miles ago.
