Default New Crossbones review

Just picked up a new Crossbones and thought I would share my thoughts for anyone else thinking about this bike.

The bike handles quite well. I would compare it to the neutral steering and relatively (for a 700 lb bike) tight handling of a Road King. I think the tire size helps as well.

The seat is very comfy and adds an extra layer of shock absorption to the right. There is a little bit of a feeling of floating, but I like it.

The brakes are good, the front a little bit wimpy since it is a single caliper, but it responds well if you give it a good squeeze.

The apes are real comfortable and relatively neutral. I'm 6'1", so they fit me just great.

Ground clearance seems reasonably good. If it were lowered, the foot boards would drag real fast.

I really love the bike.

Good luck with the new bike, just a comment on the front brake, it is nothing compared to the Night Rod Special (I have one) brakes are something else, ive driven the Bones, brakes dont compare
