I'm sort of doing the same thing. Trying to findout if the Heartland struts follow the same lines as the PM ones, which follow the stock lines. I'm looking to machine my own set but need the measurement because I want to make the same slots as the Heartland for a extra seat, backpack, etc...but don't want to shell the money for both...
can anyone tell if the heartland struts follow the same lines as the stock struts? meaning would a stock fender bolt to the struts? what im wanting to do is buy their struts and have my stock FB fender cut and have a way cheaper ez 200 kit, well basiclly the same. so those who have the heartland kit/struts what do you think?
Have you got answer you want ??
My Heartland struts follow same line for the 1st 4 bolts front -back of horn of frame , then the strut just bolts to fender.
My bike is in bits at moment ..i could bolt Heartland strut to frame horn tomorrow and take photograph if you so wish......then you could see exactly how it looks..
