The only time I have changed a rear tire under 10Kis when I was going on a 6k trip and I had 8K+on the rear before starting. Don't like to have tires changed by a dealer on the road that I don't know.The 05 Ultra that I had the frt tirestarted cupping at about 21K.I was given generic reasons by different dealers why this was happening from badSteering Head Bearings, Frt Wheel Bearings, Defective Tire and the favorite was running incorrect air pressure. I monitor my tire pressure constantly, solo front and back 36 PSI. Not being pleased with these reasons I started looking at other bikes frt tires at various meets and events, almost every bike tire I looked at that had over 18K on the frt tire was cupping also. I finally got one dealer to admit that it was inherent in the bigger bikes but to a lessor degree with the softails. The service Manager said I can't really give you the reason for it.
