Got a call today to say my Rocker C turned up early, not due until June. How cool is that. Collecting Saturday.
Not going to post any pics as it's standard. Dealer asked if I'd like a talk through the 'Stage 1' and so on. I think I'll just ride the machine a little first!
congrats i know how you feel waited 9 months for mine. and called on a monday asked if it was on the truck they said no then tuesday they called and said its here what a great feeling.. if your not getting it till saturday might not be a bad idea to get them to put some stuff on it while its there at least the stage 1 and new exhast. well anyway its gonna drive you nuts thats its there and you cant get it today again congrats and welcome to the rocker world and the forum
Just purchased an FXSTC myself. Picking up in a couple of weeks.
Just to let you know what I found out about having the Stage performance mods done.
If you were thinking of the Stage1/2(depending on what document you are looking at), that includes the big bore kit to take the motor from 93 to 103cid, you HAVE to purchase it when you get the bike if you want it to be covered under your HD limited warranty.
I got the extended service plan on mine, and was going to have the big bore and SE performance cylinder headsadded a few months down the road, but I ran into this snag...states it right in the Screamin' Eagle catalog.
so I bit the bullet and had it done now before I took deliveryto have all the engine/tuning mods guaranteed for 7 years....
Congrats on the Rocker. I got mine in Jan. Put down a deposit on Friday, dealership told me I was seventh in line would be waiting til May or June. Dealer called me the next Tuesday and told me if I wanted the one on the floor it was mine. Two of the people in front of me wanted Blue two wanted red and the two that wanted black backed out. HOW SWEET IS THAT!
stage 1 though is not a big deal and dont think you have to do that right away to keep warranty i did it later on my ultra and it didnt void warranty
yes, correct, only the big bore kit and upward. what's wierd is that if you look in the SE manual, they show three Stage 1's, but with different descriptions. Then the HD parts manual lists them as separate stages....who knows....
