I just got my 1st Harley this week too. So mostlikely we're sharing the similar feeling of "why did I wait so long to get one" thing... HA!
Good luck & good riding!
Drags on that bike...I can see it with a big set of 1 1/4" x 16" Apes bro. Especially if you keep the seat. Just my $.02 Love the bike color and I bet she has the classic sound.

Jim,
Not a big fan of the Apes. I like the looks but the hanging of the the hands on an angle doesn't feel quite right. I was setting for a while before I picked it up and was sputtering. Changed plugs and ran some premium with seafoam through the gas. Rumbles like a thundstorm now! Love the bike. Having a hard time getting off it! Thanks again to everyone for the suggestions. Still looking around at different bars.
Just a little update. I feel like real harley owner now as this is the second day of ownership and I'm already turning a wrench. Batter is not charging. I know there are people on here that know a crap load more than I do. If any of you could take a look at the post I made in the ignition/electrical area and check out the details of my problem I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!
