Default Question- Seat for Heritage

I was wondering if anyone could possibly steer me in the right direction for a new seat for my 94 Heritage. I have an older Mustang on it right now. The problem is, after about 50 to 60 mi my tailbone starts hurting pretty bad to where its very uncomfortable to ride. It got to the point at the end of last season I didn't even want to ride anymore. It just isn't fun if it hurts. So does anyone have anyone suggestions? I was looking at the Corbin Dual Saddle II, or even a custom made one. I know you can get into alot of $ with this but it's worth it to be able to ride. Thanks for any suggestions, take care! 9

I had a Mustang on my old Roadking and went to a corbin. I have never looked back. My wife has a Corbin Dual tour on her Heritage and loves it..

Bill

You could try saddleman. They are a good seat and have gel pads for both rider and passenger. Give them a look. They are also reasonable.

The H-D Sundowner seat is a very comfortable seat. A great seat for the money, around $270. I bought a used one on ebay for a hundred bucks.

Default RE: Question- Seat for Heritage

Here are some of my observations in the short time I've been sitting on bikes when it comes to seats...

- My stock Heritage seat works fine for me, but many don't like it and go to the aftermarket. I almost switched just to try something different, but again my stock seat works fine.
- The owner of a local bike shops who sells both Corbin & Mustang talks down Corbin and swears by Mustang. He says he's "tried them all" and Mustang floats his boat.
- I've got a good friend who has a Corbin on his custom bike and wouldn't ride on anything else. He loves the harder foam the Corbin has, as well as the look he got with it on his custom.

I guess every butt is different...

Has your older seat lost some of its padding or could it be an angle thing with your feet/hands while riding which is causing your discomfort? Do you still have the stock seat to try?

Just some thoughts...
