Well after weeks of agony with a ruptured disc pushing on my sciatic nerve,the Neurosurgeon tells me today that the only fix is surgery.My back actually feels ok but my butt cheek and down the back of my left leg is pure pain.
So that is going to lay me up for a while but it needs to be done so gotta do whats required.It is coming up to winter here in Australia but its just a pain in the butt (literally).
Might be a good time to start looking at a custom paint jobby for the scoot as i wont be riding it anytime soon.So i will be thinking of you guys riding around having fun whilst i am laid up.Take care all and ride safe.

Hey man, I know what you're going through. 'Bout 3 years ago, I broke my back in an accident. Had lumbar fusion, L5/S1. Best of luck to you and hope you're back on the road soon.

Back in 1981 I had the S1 removed and some lower back nerve work, It is good to go now as long as no real heavey work!!

Had the same surgery done on my L5/S1 for the left side on Feb. 28th....on May 2nd finished an 8 day, 3,000 mile trip to Sedona,AZ and the Grand Canyon...stiff and a little sore at night but once in the saddle no real problem... one day was 650 miles.
